Sierra Leone is a beautiful country. The people are extremely hard working and seem to be trying hard to improve their lives through education – against difficult odds. They deserve to be supported in their efforts.
Really lovely children, coping well in difficult circumstances. (Usually) very well behaved. Couldn’t always remember their names! Easy to become attached to children who could produce such good work with such limited resources –and comfort. I hope that I have shown, in some small way that the ‘outside world’ does show care and support. I also hope that they have learned as much about school life in the UK as I have about theirs.
 
I would be happy to reply to emails, talk on the phone and even to meet any potential volunteers.
