OCTOBER 2022 UPDATE 1
/Some of our very successful examination students.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Madam Olayemi Platt, a senior community stakeholder for donating to the school a mini solar lamp in support of our pupils (SSS3) who are staying in school to prepare for their examinations. Her generosity is very much appreciated. The school administration has always been grateful to Miss Pratt for the steadfast commitment to our Extra Mile school
In preparation for the 2025 WASSCE, which will begin on May 5th for our school, seven of our eight girls joined the 14 boys who have been camping in school for almost 3 months now. This year, students seem to be determined, just as the 9 legends. Thanks to the teachers who have been sacrificing to come and support them.
This was the school's first ever Foundation Day celebration and Thanksgiving service in the school. It was a very memorable day for all involved.

Activities include introduction to basic computer skills, creating and developing CV's and job applications and conducting practice interviews. Professionals will also be brought in to give motivational presentations. 6 students attended initially and found the course very rewarding.

This is the first day of term for the pupils in the 2021/2022 academic year. We hope that they have a happy and successful time at our school and that they will be equipped to follow whatever path in life that they wish to.
Before the start of the new academic year, all staff took part in this week's training day with input from both local staff and some of the charity's trustees in the UK via Zoom.. Discussions were held on several matters, including child protection/safeguarding and resources management as well as planning of schemes of work and the teaching of new vocabulary in all subjects. The day was a very positive experience for all involved.

In particular we are looking for supporters with expertise in administration, education, fundraising or use of social media who value the work being done by the charity. Since the start of the pandemic we have all been working remotely via zoom meetings with good internet links to the school in Goderich. Term finished on July 16th. We want to thank staff and students for all their hard work. Very well done to all involved!
