UNICEF, through the Ministry of Basic Education, donated First Aid kits to the Extra Mile Secondary School after three days of training of selective school staff within the Western Rural District. The items were presented by Mr Abdul Nice Sesay the School Supervisor, and received by the Principal Wusu Kargbo and Catherine Freeman. Many thanks for continued recognition by the Ministry of Basic Education.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Madam Olayemi Platt, a senior community stakeholder for donating to the school a mini solar lamp in support of our pupils (SSS3) who are staying in school to prepare for their examinations. Her generosity is very much appreciated. The school administration has always been grateful to Miss Pratt for the steadfast commitment to our Extra Mile school
As previously reported, Guernsey Overseas Aid & Development Commission (GOADC), very generously let us have the funds to complete a number of building improvements for out school. In this video, the Deputy Head Girl thanks them and explains what this means for the school and its students.
